Welcome to Boulder Alleycat, the heart of Boulder's underground racing.
Founded by a duo of CU Boulder students, Boulder Alleycat revives the city's once-vibrant alleycat racing culture,
a culture that thrived on the spirit of community, the thrill of the race, and the love for two wheels.
Boulder, a city nestled against the Rockies, is home to a diverse population of cyclists, from seasoned racers to fixie aficionados.
Despite this, the alleycat racing scene had faded into mere memories. Boulder Alleycat aims to change that.
We saw the streets buzzing with potential and the community eager for a challenge—and so, boulder alleycat was reborn.
Alleycat races are part of a global subculture of extreme urban cycling, known for their impromptu courses through the heart of the city,
where strategy and local knowledge are as important as speed. It's not just about being the fastest;
it's about being the smartest and the most in tune with the city's rhythm.
Our races are for everyone—whether you're here to claim the quickest time, enjoy a day out with fellow cycling enthusiasts,
or to experience the unique joy that comes from a race well-ridden. We believe in inclusivity, a fair spirit of competition,
and fostering a sustainable cycling culture that benefits all.
Join us at Boulder Alleycat, where we're not just racing through streets—we're weaving the fabric of a close-knit community with every pedal.
Let's bring back the races that once defined the eclectic and adventurous spirit of Boulder's cycling scene. Come shred. Don't miss out.
